 The banners have been hung, the performer's platforms raised and the minstrels are tuning up their instruments... IT'S FAIRE DAY!! The Kingdom of Acre travels and performs fairs for the public, both as a educational demonstrations and as a fund raiser for organizations. Schools, private organizations, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, museums.. many have contacted Medieval Scenarios and Recreations, the corporate name for the Kingdom of Acre, to perform a fair in their town. Merchants, game booths, archery, jousting shows, fashions shows... the
Kingdom of Acre provides a complete medieval fair with all the trappings.

to talk about scheduling a fair in your area. on the grounds of Sands Point Preserve, Port Washington, NY September 16& 17th and September 23 & 24th 11am to 5pm Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids (ages 5-12) and kids under 5 are free. Directions from NYC: take exit 36 (Searingtown Road/Port Washington) be careful, the exit has been moved). At the light, make a left and go under the Long Island Expressway heading north. Take Searingtown Road north, it will change into Port Washington Blvd and then into Middleneck Road. The Preserve will be on the right. Directions from Points East: Long Island Expressway to exit 36 (Searingtown Road/Port Washington). Make a right at the light (Searingtown Road). Take Searingtown Road north, it will change into Port Washington Blvd and then into Middleneck Road. The Preserve will be on the right.     |
